Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, recently in Abuja, jocularly said he was learning the `Shaku Shaku’ dance steps for campaigns ahead of the 2019 general elections.

`Shaku Shaku’ is a popular and contemporary dance style common among young Nigerians. Olamide is believed to have brought it into the mainstream in the popular ‘Wo!’ video.

Osinbajo, who was the Chairman and Special Guest of Honour at the `Launch of Five Fascinating Books’ written by Funmilayo Braithwaite, in Abuja on Sunday, said his friend recently polled large number of votes just by dancing.

He did not disclose ‘his friend’, but it may be the failed governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, who polled 250,000 votes in the election, by dancing and avoiding TV debates.

According to Osinbajo, nobody knows what will work in Nigerian politics.
