The end wouldn’t be heard about the troubles in the marriage between Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, and his wife, Sheila.
The marriage which was solemnized in October 2022, has become the trending topic online since early Saturday morning.
In a lengthy post via Instagram, Israel made multiple allegations against Sheila including marrying him for money and using him for fame.
However, his wife, Sheila also leveled allegations against him including harassing her mum.
Again, she took to her Instagram story and wrote:
“After our wedding, Israel started showing his real self. He would travel and instruct me not to go out or put the generator on. Our issues started in November. I told him I was going to the salon, when I got there, he texted me not to come back home. I thought he was joking. I got home and he instructed the gateman not to open the gate for me. I was standing outside frustrated. I called his dad, he insulted the dad. After so many calls between me and his dad, he finally opened the gate. He never apologized until days after. This happened again and again. At a point, he stopped me from visiting anyone including my parents. I started living in fear and I became depressed. One day I wanted to attend a close friend’s wedding which he knew about. He instructed that I must not go and that if I disobey him, he would not let me enter the house again. I was so pained and hurt.”
“Israel used to say many hurtful things to me. He said I didn’t amount to anything and that the only good thing about me was that I was a virgin. He vowed not to open any business for me. He used to call the brands I was working with, not to have anything to do with me again. This was after he has sent me out of the house without packing my belongings. One day, he told me to come and carry my things, when I got there, he locked me inside the house, and hit me hard in the chest. I ran to the kitchen to grab a knife to defend myself until the police got involved. After a lot of back and forth, we reconciled and I went back to the house. I started a business and he never assisted me financially. He stopped talking to me, he would travel without telling me. He was always insulting my parents. For my sanity, I had to leave the house and now this man is on the social media cooking a false narrative to gain sympathy.”
