Just as skit maker cum comedian, Ganiyu Morufu aka Ijoba Lande is trying to gather what remains of his failed union with his former wife, Dara, he was mocked by musician Portable in a song. The embattled comedian responded to Portable’s mockery
It seems skit maker cum comedian Ganiyu Morufu, aka Ijoba Lande, has woken from slumber. Just a few hours ago, the embattled comedian called out controversial singer Portable in a video for turning his current marital crisis into a song.

The skit maker, whose revelations of wife’s infidelity went viral on social media, expressed disappointment at Portable’s latest move and reminded the musician of how he once publicly lamented over Queen Damilola’s adulterous acts.
Queen Dami is one of the widows of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who was in a relationship with Portable. The duo split after Portable accused Dami of sleeping with many men.
Portable’s song about the scandal did not sit well with Lande, who vowed that the singer would “pay” for mocking his family.
In a viral video, Lande, speaking in Yoruba, said:
“Portable, I see all the nonsense you are doing. You are using my life story to sing. You will pay for it. When they slept with one of your wives the other time, you were crying all over the Internet.”
Portable released his song ‘Truth or Dare,’ inspired by Ijoba Lande’s marital scandal, on March 13, 2025.
Lande’s estranged wife, Dara, has admitted to infidelity and pleaded for forgiveness, but the controversy surrounding their relationship continues to stir reactions online.
Portable also mocked Lande on Wednesday, calling him a fool for prostrating to greet actor Baba Tee, one of the men linked to his wife.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker reacted after a video surfaced showing Lande and Baba Tee reconciling over the weekend.
Baba Tee had publicly apologised multiple times and Lande eventually forgave him. The two were seen exchanging warm hugs, with Lande prostrating as a sign of respect.
Portable, unimpressed by the gesture, shared the video and mocked Lande, writing:
“Wondo iyawo eh. You dey snap picture say thank you 😀.”
