Emir of Kano’s wife Sadiya Bayero-Sanusi (Giwa Sarkin
Kano) who turned a year older yesterday, July 14 celebrated her birthday with
some members of her family, including her daughter, Siddika Sanusi. Sadiya is
the first wife of the Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the 18th daughter of
late Emir of Kano Alhaji Dr Ado Bayero, the granddaughter of late Sarki
Katsina. On her birthday, her husband, the Emir, had written a celebratory
message in her honour wherein he described her as a treasure.
