Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially joined the billionaire ranks, with Forbes confirming that the global superstar is now worth more than $1 billion — making her the fifth musician in history to reach the landmark.

At 44, the singer and entrepreneur joins an exclusive group that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and her husband, Jay-Z, whose fortune Forbes estimates at $2.5 billion.

The recognition follows an exceptional run of commercial achievements, led by her hugely successful Renaissance World Tour in 2023, which generated close to $600 million worldwide.

Reflecting on the impact of the tour, Forbes wrote: “The Renaissance World Tour would be a career peak. The three-hour, career-spanning journey through Beyoncé’s discography was one of the concert sensations of 2023, grossing nearly $600 million and cementing her place, alongside Taylor Swift, as one of the biggest pop culture icons in the world.”

The publication added that her momentum did not slow in the following year:
“But the 44-year-old pop supernova reinvented herself again in 2024, releasing a country album, Cowboy Carter, that would generate new commercial opportunities, a Christmas NFL halftime performance and the world’s highest-grossing concert tour of 2025, ultimately earning Queen Bey another title of distinction—billionaire.”

Building on the tour’s success, Beyoncé also released a concert film through a direct distribution deal with AMC Theatres, allowing her to keep roughly half of the film’s $44 million global box office earnings.

Her 2024 project Cowboy Carter, which reintroduced audiences to the Black roots of country music, went on to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and inspired another major tour. Although some shows initially struggled with ticket sales and price reductions, Forbes reports that the tour still pulled in more than $400 million from ticket revenue, alongside an estimated $50 million from merchandise.

Additional income streams further boosted her billionaire status. According to Forbes, deals such as a Netflix NFL Christmas Day halftime performance and a Levi’s advertising partnership contributed around $60 million to her earnings.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest performers of her generation, Beyoncé holds the record as the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, with 35 wins.

Beyond music, she has expanded her business portfolio in recent years. In August 2024, she launched her whiskey brand SirDavis, followed by the debut of her haircare line Cécred in February, and her fragrance brand Cé Noir in 2023 — ventures that continue to strengthen her growing business empire.
