The Golden Globe Awards have released their 2026 nomination list, with Paul Thomas Anderson’s action thriller One Battle After Another emerging as the year’s most-nominated title.
Established in 1944, the Golden Globes recognise exceptional work across film and television.
This year, One Battle After Another tops the film category with nine nominations, including major slots such as Best Comedy or Musical, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Leading Actor.
Following closely is Sentimental Value with eight nominations; Sinners with seven; Hamnet with six; and both Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good earning five each.
In television, The White Lotus leads with six nominations, while Adolescence follows with five. Only Murders in the Building and Severance scored four nominations each.
K-Pop feature Demon Hunters also grabbed attention with a nomination for Best Animated Feature, while its track Golden appears in the Best Original Song category.

According to Billboard, 27 performers are receiving their first-ever Golden Globe nominations this year, including Bill Maher, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jacob Elordi, Kevin Hart, Michael B. Jordan and Paul Mescal.
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 11, with comedian Nikki Glaser returning as host. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and streamed via Paramount+.
