Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe and husband, Alhaji Kazim Adeoti, has suffered a terrible loss what with a fire incident that razed down their Lagos home.
The actress revealed this on Wednesday night and shared the aftermath of a fire incident that destroyed her property.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Mercy showed the extent of damage, accompanied by an emotional caption.
She wrote, “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost! It is well.”
This prompted an outpouring of sympathy from fans and other celebrities.
The tragic event drew responses from fans and industry colleagues who filled her comment section with prayers and words of encouragement.
Actress Toyin Abraham expressed her concern, recalling a phone call during which Mercy was in tears.
“Jesus Olorun, no wonder you were crying on the phone, I’m so sorry sis,” Toyin wrote.
Actor Timini Egbuson also shared his condolences, saying, “Omg! So sorry for this loss, we thank God regardless and pray for 100 folds replenishment.”
Actress Blessing Obasi added, “Oh Lord!!! So sorry, Thank God for life and indeed he will restore a million fold.”
Ronke Odusanya commented, “Haaaa! Oluwa. So sorry dear.”
For Iyabo Ojo, the actress expressed her condolence in a post on her Instagram page.
She wrote, “My dear friend @realmercyaigbe & my humble brother @kazimadeoti I’m deeply sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your home. My heart goes out to you both during this challenging time.
Please know that God is with you, and He will help you rebuild and create something even more beautiful. This loss is not the end but a new beginning.
