Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has expressed displeasure at what she described as ‘not being identified and respected” for who she is and not who she is married to.
What could that be?
Her identity as Mrs Tuface Idibia.
The 34-year-old disclosed this in a chat with PUNCH
“Being addressed as Tubaba’s wife instead of Annie the actress has been a problem that I have been trying to work on for a long time.
“I want to believe that I have successfully been able to identify and differentiate my brand as Annie Idibia the actress/career woman and Annie Idibia the wife/mother. I prefer being addressed as Annie and not Tubaba’s wife. I hate this because I am my own person and have worked hard to build my career and brand. I should be identified and respected on that basis,” she said.
2face and Annie have known each other since she was 15-year-old, having an on and off relationship since then.
Annie was the vixen for the video of his hit single, African Queen, which aired on MTV Base Africa.

In 2012, the lovebirds got married in Dubai, an occasion that was widely celebrated by fans in Africa familiar with their story.
Annie has two children for 2face while he has five from the other women.
