This is battle of the titans indeed.
Franklin Amudo, a former manager to embattled Nigerian hip-hop star D’banj wants Kemi Olunloyo to pay him N200 within 72 hours.
On the other hand, Olunloyo is seeking moneyfrom fans and followers to fight Frank in court.
Frank, a former manager of Dipo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj,.who has been accused of rape, has written through his lawyers to caution a self-acclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo to desist from the defamation of his character and constant media attacks.
In a pre-litigation letter signed by his lawyer, Barrister Adetunji Adegboyega Esq, the artiste manager asked Olunloyo to make a payment of N200m within 72 hours or face legal action.
Kemi Olunloyo had accused Frank of allegedly “hooking up groupies before and after concerts for Dbanj” and that “he always organized girls for Dbanj.”
Moreover, Olunloyo accused Frank of wanting to extort money from Dbanj since he knew beforehand that the bank endorsement would be a big one.
According to Olunloyo, Frank stirred up Seyitan to wrongly accuse Dbanj of rape.
She concluded in tweets that, “Dbanj was very kind and loyal to his former manager and even paid millions of naira for Frank Amudo’s wife’s fertility treatment when she was trying to have a child. It shocked Oyebanjo to find out why Frank wanted to use the issue of rape to DESTROY HIM.”
Meanwhile, Frank stated in the letter dated June 22, 2020, that he remains a law-abiding citizen of the country who engages in the management of artistes including but not limited to their public image and other related matters; and as such would not entertain any unwarranted, baseless and defamatory attacks from Olunloyo.
