A heated rift has broken out between Nollywood stars Dayo Amusa and Lizzy Anjorin, escalating from a birthday celebration to a full-blown online confrontation involving accusations, curses, and strong warnings.
The drama began after Amusa hosted an elaborate first birthday party for her son. A video from the event — which also captured Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe present — quickly spread online. Trouble started when some viewers alleged that the live band’s performance subtly threw jabs at Lizzy Anjorin.
Lizzy reacted fiercely during an Instagram Live broadcast, attacking both Dayo and Iyabo with harsh words. She accused them of orchestrating disrespect towards her and went as far as placing curses on their children, insisting the song was intentionally crafted to mock her.
Amusa fired back with a firm and emotional voice note shared on TikTok, cautioning Lizzy to stop dragging her child into unnecessary online drama. She accused Lizzy of repeatedly creating conflict and made it clear she wanted no association with her due to her “history of public controversies.”
“I do not want to have issues with you. We are both parallel lines that can never meet. We are not friends. You called me out after I delivered my baby. You also said you wanted to visit the baby and me, but I declined honourably because of your fracas stuff,” Amusa stated.

Issuing a stronger warning, she added: “Let this be the last time in your entire life that you will ever mention my baby’s name in your video. I do not joke with my child. If you try it again, my reaction will be outside social media, and you will not like it.”
She concluded with a firm caution: “Stay on your lane and respect yourself. Don’t use my child for your video shenanigans. If not, people will feel pity for you by the time I am done with you. I do not ever want to have anything to do with you.”
The clash has since taken over social media spaces, with fans of both actresses weighing in on the escalating feud.
