This follows reports that the 30-year-old finalised his traditional marriage rites to his partner, Chioma Rowland on Thursday, January 5 in her hometown in Ezeala Odu, Imo state.
Pictures shared online show a man identified as Chioma’s dad overseeing what is known in Igboland as Umunna rites.
Meanwhile, checks on Davido’s Wikipedia page reveal his new marital status and wife’s name.
It also shows that the couple who recently lost their son Ifeanyi Adeleke got married in 2022.
Ifeanyi died on October 31 after drowning in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
The boy had only celebrated his third birthday days before the tragic incident.
After the death of their son, the couple went off the social radar.
They made their first public appearance at the inauguration of Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as governor of Osun State on Sunday, November 27.
At the ceremony, the singer and his wife were seen wearing wedding rings. Chioma was seen wearing a double diamond ring while the singer also had a ring on his finger.
In December, Davido made a grand return to social media with photos of himself and his partner smiling at each other, hours before his performance at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar.
