Pop musician, Davido, has set a record by becoming the youngest African act to sell out the O2 Arena in London.
The 26-year-old musician’s much-anticipated concert took place on Sunday, January to the sold-out 20,000 capacity audience at the South London venue.
Members of Davido’s DMW record label – Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Yonda, Idowest and Dremo – whetted the appetite of the eager audience.
Victor AD and Zlatan Ibile also performed at the concert.
After a brief technical delay, Davido came on stage and kicked off his set with a rendition of his evergreen single, ‘Aye’.

He delved into his lengthy discography backed by a live band and professional dancers as the audience soaked up his music and sang along with him.
The ‘FIA’ singer is the second African act after Wizkid to headline a sold-out concert at the O2 Arena.
Wizkid held his AfroRepublik concert at the choice destination in May 2018 at the age of 27.
It featured performances from Mr Eazi, Wande Coal and Burna Boy.
Drake, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Adele are some of the stars who have sold out the O2 Arena as headliners in the past.
