Comedian AY Makun and his wife Mabel have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid a rumoured marriage crisis.
QEDNG’s check on their Instagram accounts on Friday revealed that the couple are no longer following each other on the platform.
This comes barely 24 hours after Mabel raised an alarm over an alleged threat to her life.
The businesswoman raised the alarm in an Instagram post on Thursday in which she said the threat was getting out of hand.
She also hinted that she would report the matter to the police.
“The threat to my life is actually getting out of hand and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station,” she wrote.
Her outburst led to speculations about their marriage being in trouble.
Mabel and AY got married in 2008, the year they had their first child Michelle.
The couple welcomed their son child Ayomide in 2021.
Mabel caused a stir in 2017 when she called out socialite Freda Francis over the latter’s relationship with her husband.
She posted a picture AY and Freda took at a party on Instagram and wrote “This is outright wickedness and I won’t take it! I think have had enough of the ridiculing. Freda Francis, stay away from my family and I mean it!”
