Simi declined to sleep with Nigerian artist Brymo, who has admitted to turning down a request to include her in a song.
The singer said that his main goal was to feel what it was like to work with a woman with whom he was having a personal relationship.
He did admit that the singer had rejected him, but even now, years later, he still harbors regrets about the requirement he placed on her.
He also said that he had contacted other women to satiate his wants, so she wasn’t the only one.
He said this:
“There’s a part of me that wants to look for regret for my state since I need Simi, who is skilled, for a necessity. I only wanted to have the musical collaboration with the female act I was bedding. I had to let go of my despair, of course. With my female colleague, I want a sexually charged cooperation.
Brymo’s admission has caused fury on social media, as many users have accused him of being sexist and encouraging a negative workplace atmosphere.
Some also demanded that Simi come out about her experience and that he be made to answer for his deeds.
