Surprise: Your favorite are-they-or-aren’t-they couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas might be getting married. Though they haven’t confirmed their relationship after two months of reported dating, People says they got engaged last week. (Reps for both parties haven’t confirmed or denied the news yet, however, so keep that in mind.)
According to the publication, it happened in London—on her thirty-sixth birthday. Apparently, Jonas even closed down a Tiffany & Co. store in New York City to pick out her ring.
“They are so happy,” a source tells People.While another added, “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.”
Again, neither Chopra nor Jonas have confirmed the engagement themselves, but we do know how they celebrated Chopra’s birthday: The two were seen dining at London’s Chiltern Firehouse, where they shared an Instagram-worthy dessert and left holding hands.
It feels like just yesterday Jonas and Chopra were flirting on Instagram and cuddling on yachts. What a summer for whirlwind celebrity relationships, no?
They aren’t the only celebrity pair to surprise fans with a proposal: Earlier this summer Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged, quickly followed by Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin. Hey, they say when you know you know. These couples are just proof.
