Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has taken to social media to celebrate her father following his recent academic achievement.
The actress shared a video capturing the joyful moment on her Instagram page, where she expressed gratitude to God for the milestone. She also proudly noted that her father’s new status makes him the first doctorate degree holder to be featured in one of her films.
Congratulating him, Bimbo described her father as her superhero and a major source of inspiration in her life. She did not hold back in expressing her affection, declaring that her bond with her father remains as strong as ever.
“My Dad now has a Doctorate degree! Thank you, God! Let it be known that I’m the first Nollywood filmmaker to cast a doctorate degree holder in my movie (Miles Away from Home). Congratulations, my superhero, you inspire me in so many ways. I love my daddy soooo much,” she wrote.

She also gave a shoutout to a transport service that made the trip comfortable and added a lighthearted note about her close relationship with her father, saying, “PS. I’m never beating the daddy’s girl allegations anytime soon.”
The post has since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues who joined her in celebrating the academic feat.
