Yoruba actor, Kunle Afod, has shared a cheerful picture from his visit to the home of comic actor, Baba Suwe, on Tuesday.
Kunle Afod shared the picture via Instagram on Wednesday.
“Visiting Babtunde Omidina (baba suwe) yesterday was joy for me . Thank God he’s still alive. He was happy to see us. Cracked some jokes and all I see in him was hope for survival and be strong again.
“I pray to God to give him good health and bring him back fully to active time. We love you Babasuwe ba,” he wrote.
Baba Suwe revealed that he is battling an undisclosed ailment.
The actor confirmed his health challenges in a 2019 interview where he lamented the worsening state of his health,
He added that he is currently walking with the aid of a stick.
Yomi Fabiyi, a former personal assistant of Baba Suwe, claimed that over one million Naira had been raised since the alarm was raised over 48 hours ago.
Mr Latin while speaking to reporters on Monday in his role as the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria, (TAMPPAN) denied allegations that Baba Suwe’s colleagues abandoned him despite his failing health.
