Less than three months after losing his son, Jide on November 1, 2017, the All Progressives Congress chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lost his nephew, Deji Tinubu.
The deceased, who was the Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce, Deji Tinubu, was the former Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission.
He died late on Thursday during a novelty match in the Epe area of Lagos State.
Sources said Tinubu did not show any sign of sickness as he had attended the ongoing Excos and Permanent Secretaries Retreat earlier.
He was formerly Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission and Special Adviser on Sports.
Deji, a nephew of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was the son of late Chief Kafaru Oluwole Tinubu and Chief Bintu Fatima Tinubu, the Iyalode of Lagos.
He was also the younger brother of Wale Tinubu, Oando CEO.
Lagos State Executive members and other top government functionaries are in Epe for a retreat.
It was gathered that Tinubu slumped in the field and was confirmed dead at a hospital in Epe.
