As expected the first wife kicked against it.
On his Instagram page, on April 6, he wrote:

On this special day, may you have:
All the joy, your heart can hold;
All the smiles, a day can bring;
And all the blessings, a life can unfold.
May God bestow you with His bounties and blessings!
Happy Birthday,To my Queen.”

Obviously, he decided moving on with his ‘Queen, Juliet Adeh who hails from Calabar and a graduate of the University of Calabar. She is said to be based in Lagos.

Ahmed and Juliet have been dating for over two years. He was said to have got her an apartment in Lekki, Lagos and bought her a Mercedes Benz C300.

They had their introduction on March 25, 2017 and he’s planning to marry her sometime in July. Ahmed Musa is said to be madly in love with Juliet. As a matter of fact, the footballer had quit the Super Eagles training camp in London to go and prepare for his second marriage in Nigeria.

From his posts, KemiashefonLovehaven observed that Ahmed had celebrated his children’s birthdays and referred to them as his ‘prince’ and ‘queen’ but no picture of his wife, Jamila on the IG page.

The marriage to Jamila produced two kids.

Though he gave Jamila a Saki Uku (a final divorce notice), it was gathered that he rewarded her handsomely by giving her one of his houses in Kano as well as a new model Honda vehicle.

For Jamila, that seems a good reward because she was said to have turned down help from top human rights lawyers in England who approached her and advised that she sought alimony and sue her husband.

She declined dragging him to court.

Musa and Jamila who are both Muslims, grew up in Kano, lived on the same street, saw each other, fell in love and started courting. One of the tenets of Islam is a man entitled to having more than a wife but should not exceed having four.
Jamila is already back home in Kano trying to piece her life together again.
