It was an atmosphere of praise and worship on Thursday when mother of late Abisola Kola-Daisi had friends and family honoured her daughter’s memory just as Abisola was buried on same day.
For Florence Ajimobi, widow of the former governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi, it was time to celebrate her late daughter, Abisola.
So, she held a praise and worship service in memory of her daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi, who died on March 27, 2025.

Present was the Ogun State governor, Mr. Dapo Abiodun who threw his weight behind the Ajimobi family. He was among those who attended the service, which took place at the Ajimobi residence.
He shared photos from the event on Instagram on Thursday, describing the atmosphere as “deeply moving and spiritual.”
He wrote, “Today, we joined Mrs. Florence Ajimobi and her loved ones at their residence in a heartfelt praise and worship service held in memory of her beloved daughter, Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi.
“It was a deeply moving and spiritual gathering, one filled with songs of faith, moments of reflection, and shared strength in the face of an unimaginable loss.
“As a parent, I can only begin to understand the pain of losing a child. But I was truly inspired by the grace and fortitude shown by Mrs. Ajimobi and her family.
“Surrounded by the comforting presence of friends and well-wishers, we lifted our voices in praise, not only to mourn, but to thank God for Bisola’s life and the light she brought to those around her.
“Her legacy of kindness, love, and impact will not be forgotten. I pray that God continues to uphold the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.
“May Abisola’s soul rest in perfect peace.”
Photos from the service showed Mrs. Ajimobi dressed in black, surrounded by friends, family members, and well-wishers, many of whom also wore black in honour of the deceased.
