Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has submitted four entries for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards, according to an announcement by his record label, Giran Republik.
The submissions feature songs from his album, M$NEY, as well as collaborations with fellow Nigerian star Wizkid and French DJ and record producer DJ Snake. The entries cover multiple categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best African Music Performance.
Asake’s album, M$NEY, has been submitted for consideration in the Album of the Year and Best Global Music Album categories.
His collaboration with Wizkid, Jogodo, is listed for Best African Music Performance, while Gratitude has been entered in three categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best African Music Performance.
Meanwhile, Worship, his collaboration with DJ Snake, is being considered for Best Dance Pop Recording.
The submissions mark another attempt by the singer to secure recognition at the prestigious music awards, having previously received two Grammy nominations.
According to the Recording Academy, first-round voting for the 69th Grammy Awards is scheduled to hold from October 12 to 22, with the nominees expected to be announced on November 16.
The main ceremony is billed for February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles, United States.
Asake received his first Grammy nomination in 2024 for Amapiano, his collaboration with rapper Olamide, in the Best African Music Performance category. He earned another nomination in the same category in 2025 for MMS, his joint effort with Wizkid.
However, he did not win either award.

The singer established his record label, Giran Republik, in February 2025, signalling his departure from YBNL Nation, the label owned by Olamide.
Born Ahmed Ololade, Asake gained wider recognition in 2020 following the success of his song Lady. He later joined YBNL Nation in February 2022, a move that helped propel his career in the Nigerian music industry.
