Afrobeat stars Davido and Rema will headline the Nigerian contingent at the 2027 edition of Afro Nation Portugal, with Omah Lay, Victony and Odeal also billed to perform at the festival.
The organisers announced the first set of performers on Wednesday, confirming Davido and Rema as two of the event’s main headliners alongside Congolese music star Fally Ipupa.
Omah Lay, Odeal and Victony are among the artistes scheduled for the Lit Stage, where they will perform alongside Bamby, Miimii KDS and South Gidi Experience.
The festival organisers announced the lineup on Instagram, writing, “YOUR ANP27 PHASE 1 LINEUP JUST DROPPED. The wait is over,” while asking fans to register for priority ticket access.
Afro Nation Portugal 2027 is scheduled to hold from June 9 to 11 at Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Algarve, Portugal.
The organisers said fans will be able to access the pre-sale from 10am UK time on Tuesday, September 29, while general ticket sales will commence at 10am UK time the following day.
The first-wave lineup extends beyond Africa, with Jamaican artistes Shenseea and Valiant, Tanzanian singer Rayvanny and French-Congolese star GIMS also confirmed. GIMS will appear as a special guest.

Amapiano will have a strong presence through the Piano People Stage, which features Kabza De Small, TxC, Dlala Thukzin, 031 Choppa, 2woBunnies, Benzo, Thatohatsi, Uncool MC, W4DE, Young Stunna and Zee Nxumalo.
The Afrotronic Stage will meanwhile feature Caiiro, Djeff, Jamiie, Aniko and JNR SA.
More performers are expected to be added to the festival lineup in subsequent announcements.
