Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that she had died, assuring her fans that she is alive, safe and was not involved in any accident.
The mother of two addressed the false reports in a video shared on social media, where she appealed to her followers to help report accounts responsible for spreading the claims.
“I AM ALIVE!!! Please help me report. Please, I’m begging you, help me report it,” she said.
Kadiri expressed concern over what she described as the disturbing behaviour of people who use social media to spread hurtful claims and wish death on others.
She said she has deliberately kept to herself and avoided interfering in other people’s affairs, urging those behind the reports to stop targeting her.
