Nollywood actress Sikiratu Sindodo has reflected on her former relationship with NURTW boss MC Oluomo, admitting that she now wishes she had kept the romance away from public attention.
The Yoruba actress made this known during an interview with Oyinmomo, where she discussed her decision to openly acknowledge the relationship.
Sindodo said she did not feel the need to hide the relationship at the time, believing that people would eventually find out about it.
“Normal, if you’re married to someone, people will eventually know. Back then, I didn’t care and I didn’t see any reason to hide it”.
Asked about what caused the relationship to end, Sindodo chose not to provide details, describing the circumstances as a long story.
“It’s a long story, and I’d rather not go into it”.
The actress subsequently advised women to be more careful about making their private relationships public.
According to her, she admires colleagues who have successfully kept their romantic affairs away from public scrutiny and believes privacy can help protect relationships.
Sindodo also expressed regret over publicly revealing her relationship with MC Oluomo, saying she no longer believes it was necessary to do so.
