Nigerian music veteran Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, will headline an eight-city tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland between August and September.
Dubbed ‘The Baba Experience’, the tour is scheduled to begin in London on August 21, with Manchester serving as the second stop on August 22.
The singer will continue the August leg with performances in Sunderland on August 28, Birmingham on August 29 and Edinburgh on August 30.
The tour will resume in September with shows in Reading on September 4 and Derby on September 5, before ending in Dublin, Ireland, on September 11.
2Baba’s manager, Mallam Yankee, announced the tour itinerary, with Yankee Entertainment and BareN listed as the promoters.
Tickets for the concerts are being made available through VTickets, Shoobs and Eventbrite.
The tour is expected to bring 2Baba’s extensive catalogue to fans across the UK and Ireland, including members of the Nigerian and African communities who have followed his music over the years.
The veteran performer has enjoyed a career spanning more than two decades. He first gained prominence as part of Plantashun Boiz before establishing himself as a solo artiste.

Formerly known as 2Face Idibia, he has released numerous songs drawing from Afrobeats, R&B, reggae and African pop, with ‘African Queen’ remaining one of his most celebrated international records.
The upcoming concerts will also give younger fans an opportunity to experience some of the music that has made 2Baba one of the enduring names in Nigerian music.
The tour will cover eight cities, starting in London on August 21 and ending in Dublin on September 11.
