Nollywood stars Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, have celebrated the arrival of their triplet sons with a grand thanksgiving ceremony.
The gathering, held on Wednesday, attracted relatives, friends, colleagues from the film industry and other well-wishers who joined the couple in marking the special occasion.
Videos shared online captured guests arriving at the venue as the couple celebrated a new chapter in their family life.
The thanksgiving comes months after Lateef and Mo Bimpe welcomed their three boys, whose arrival generated excitement among fans and colleagues.
Announcing the birth at the time, Adedimeji described the experience as the greatest blessing of his life, saying he had been “building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing” before the arrival of the children.
He also referred to the boys as three kings.
The couple, who exchanged marital vows in December 2021, later held a private Islamic naming ceremony at their home in Lekki, Lagos, where the triplets were named Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb.
The birth also prompted spontaneous celebrations among members of the public. A video showing elderly market women dancing and singing in honour of the couple’s newborns previously went viral.
The women were seen carrying a crate of soft drinks while offering prayers and thanksgiving for the family.
Mo Bimpe was visibly moved by the gesture and appealed to the public to help locate the women, as she wanted them to be present at the couple’s celebration.

Since welcoming their sons, the actors have occasionally shared their experiences of parenthood with their followers.
Mo Bimpe described motherhood as a journey “from waiting to wonder, from tears to thanksgiving”.
Adedimeji has also spoken about the challenges they faced before becoming parents, including the mockery and stigma they encountered, describing their journey as one that ultimately became a testimony.
The thanksgiving ceremony offered the couple another opportunity to celebrate their sons and appreciate family, friends and supporters who shared in their joy.
