Fuji music star Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, has reacted to allegations by a woman who claimed he abandoned her and their 12-year-old daughter, dismissing the issue during a recent stage performance.
The controversy followed an interview with Feel Right TV in which Ogechi Eleana, a Lagos State University graduate, alleged that she was in a relationship with the singer for more than seven years before giving birth to their daughter, Azeezat.
Eleana claimed their relationship began after she provided manicure and pedicure services to the Fuji musician before later offering home services.
According to her, KWAM 1 allegedly asked her to terminate the pregnancy after learning she was expecting and promised to send money through one of his aides for the procedure, but she never received the funds.
She further alleged that she later sought help from the late Kabiru Agbabiaka and visited a palace, where the singer denied her claims during a phone conversation.
“When the girl was a year plus, I went to Kabiru Agbabiaka. He was alive then. We went to the palace and he called Wasiu on phone but he lied against me on the phone,” Eleana said.
She also recalled meeting the singer’s late mother, whom she claimed immediately noticed the resemblance between the child and the family.
“His mother saw us, she looked at this baby and started tears. That was the first time I am seeing Wasiu Ayinde’s mother. She said ‘I am still alive and I have given birth to myself.’ The girl took the face of the mother.”
Azeezat also spoke during the interview, alleging that the last time she saw the singer was on July 30, 2025, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, where he reportedly denied knowing them.
The teenager said the experience inspired her to write a song and appealed to the Fuji star for financial assistance.

“I heard that my father is a billionaire if not a trillionaire. I was told that he has money. He should help me. I am tired. Things are not working. Tell him to help me,” she said.
Responding to the allegations during a live performance captured in a viral video, KWAM 1 dismissed the claims through a song, describing the alleged pregnancy as “useless” and comparing it to “a free gift.”
The Fuji singer also sang that “nobody should stress him at this point in his life,” while laughing off the allegations before continuing with his performance.
