Nollywood actress Biola Fowosere has spoken candidly about the emotional pain she endured following the collapse of her marriage, revealing that her former husband abandoned her and their children without explanation.
Speaking during an interview on African A List, the Yoruba movie star became emotional as she recounted how the separation affected her mental health and family.
Fowosere said the one question she still hopes to ask her ex-husband is why he chose to walk away despite, according to her, having done nothing wrong.
“The only person I’d really want to ask a question is my ex-husband. I’d really like to ask him what I did wrong because I did nothing before he left me and the kids. I want to ask what my children and I did to deserve what he did to us,” she said.
The actress disclosed that the heartbreak led to severe depression, forcing her to spend one year and six months in hospital while trying to recover.

“I spent one year and six months in the hospital battling depression after he left. I almost ran mad. We are not in contact. Since he left, we haven’t seen him. He blocked us seven years ago,” she added.
According to Fowosere, neither she nor her children have had any communication with her former husband since he cut off contact, saying he blocked them seven years ago and has not reached out or seen them since.
