Veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs is celebrating his 84th birthday, with his wife, actress Joke Silva, leading the tributes in honour of the screen legend.
Marking the special occasion on July 12, Silva shared an AI-generated video of her husband on social media and expressed appreciation for his life while referring to him as the “Lion of Lufudo.”
“Sincere gratitude for 84!! Sir J, the Lion of Lufudo. Happy birthday,” she wrote.
The heartfelt tribute drew reactions from several celebrities, who filled the comment section with birthday wishes and prayers for the veteran actor.
Actress Hilda Dokubo wrote, “Happiest birthday to our dearest uncle; may God continue to preserve him for us.”
Efe Irele simply commented, “Happy birthday, sir.”
Actress Juliet Ibrahim also celebrated him, writing, “Happy birthday, sir.”
Actor Kunle Remi described Jacobs as a legend, saying, “Happy birthday legend! God bless you.”
