Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared details about his family’s journey to parenthood, revealing how he and his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, navigated years of waiting before welcoming their triplets.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown, the actor said he made a conscious effort to care for and support his wife throughout the pregnancy, describing her as an exceptionally strong woman.
Lateef admitted that learning they were expecting triplets came as a complete surprise and stirred different emotions.
“It was shocking for me; at the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something, and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting is not a bad one.”
Reflecting on the pregnancy, he said the long wait made him appreciate every moment and inspired him to shower his wife with extra care.
“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman.”
The actor also disclosed that he stayed by Mo Bimpe’s side throughout the delivery, saying he witnessed the entire process and gained even greater respect for women.
“I cannot stay back; we did it together. We are in it together; I was right there, and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to the woman. Well done.”

On whether they intend to have more children, Lateef said the decision is ultimately left to God. While noting that their triplets are all boys, he admitted his wife would be delighted to have a daughter in the future.
“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys. I know my wife will love to have a female so we can do one more round, maybe.”
