Fuji musician, Taye Currency, has celebrated his son, Samsudeen Adebisi, after he was officially admitted into the Nigerian Bar as a barrister and solicitor.
The Ibadan-born singer announced the achievement on his Instagram page on Tuesday, describing the milestone as a reflection of his son’s commitment, perseverance and years of hard work.
Sharing a video from the ceremony, Taye Currency praised his son’s dedication and wrote, “I am incredibly proud of you. Your dedication, late-night studies, and resilience have finally paid off. Officially becoming a barrister and solicitor is a monumental milestone. May your legal career be filled with wisdom, success and fulfilment. Congratulations on this great achievement, my son, Barrister Samsudeen Adebisi. More success ahead.”
The video showed an emotional moment between the Fuji star and his son, who was dressed in the traditional wig and black gown worn by newly qualified legal practitioners. Taye Currency was seen embracing Samsudeen and expressing his joy over the accomplishment.
Samsudeen’s achievement adds to the list of successes recorded by the musician’s children, whom he has often described as a major source of happiness and pride.
Another of his sons, Yusuf Adebisi, previously served as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South-West State Constituency I. He was elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and was among the younger lawmakers in the Assembly during his tenure.
The Fuji singer has also spoken proudly about the achievements of his daughters, noting that his children have continued to excel in their chosen fields.
