Ismael Saibari struck inside the opening minutes to hand Morocco a narrow but important victory over Scotland in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group C clash at Boston Stadium on Friday night.

The PSV Eindhoven midfielder, reportedly linked with a move to Bayern Munich, stunned the Scottish side just 72 seconds after kickoff with a rapid breakthrough.

The only goal of the match strengthened Morocco’s push for qualification to the knockout stage, while leaving Scotland struggling to recover in the group.

The decisive moment came in the second minute when Brahim Díaz found space on the right and delivered a precise pass behind the Scottish defence.

Saibari made a well-timed run onto the ball and fired a powerful right-footed shot past goalkeeper Angus Gunn, recording the fastest goal of the tournament so far.

In the other Group C fixture, Brazil national football team produced a dominant performance, defeating Haiti 3–0 in their second group match.

After an underwhelming draw with Morocco in their opening game, Carlo Ancelotti’s side responded strongly against the tournament newcomers.

Matheus Cunha scored twice, while Vinícius Júnior added a late first-half goal to seal a comfortable win for the South American giants.
