Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has spoken out against TikTok users sharing videos that falsely suggest she is dead.
The actress, in a video posted online, condemned the trend of people attaching “RIP” captions to her photos on the social media platform.
Toyin expressed frustration over the posts and warned those responsible to stop immediately, stressing that she would take action against anyone she identifies behind the videos.
“You’re on TikTok doing videos and posting my pictures, and keep putting RIP. If I catch you, cause the whole world is seeing now, and they aren’t saying anything,” she said.
The actress also prayed against untimely death for herself, her husband, children, relatives, supporters, and even those criticising her online.
“My husband, children, fans, family, and I wouldn’t die an untimely death. Whoever you are, you wouldn’t die; but go delete that thing and stop,” she added.
