The 2026 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards came alive on Saturday as top entertainers and filmmakers gathered at the Eko Hotel and Suites for the prestigious ceremony.
The annual event recognised excellence in African movies, television productions and digital content, attracting stars from across the continent.
The ceremony began at 7 p.m. and was transmitted live on Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv, while audiences also streamed the event online through DStv Stream and GOtv Stream.
The night featured appearances from prominent actors, directors, producers and content creators as winners emerged in several competitive categories.
As one of Africa’s biggest entertainment award platforms, the AMVCA once again celebrated creativity, storytelling and achievements within the industry.
