Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has called out Afrobeats stars Davido and Zlatan Ibile for potential celebrity boxing bouts following his loss to skit maker Carter Efe at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event in Lagos.
Portable, who suffered a unanimous decision defeat, said he is now seeking guaranteed fights to rebuild financially and reclaim his status in celebrity boxing.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, he made his intentions clear.
“Bring Davido or Zlatan. Let me beat them so I can use them to make money and buy what I want. I want a sure fight now so I can make money. I am ready now,” he said.
His comments come days after Zlatan mocked his defeat on social media, where he also praised Carter Efe and taunted Portable over the outcome of the fight.
Beyond calling out fellow entertainers, Portable also demanded fulfilment of various promises he claims were made to him ahead of the bout. He called on singer KCee and businessman E-Money to honour financial pledges, noting that Carter Efe had reportedly received a N50 million gift on the night of his victory.
He also urged singer Timaya to fulfil a promised luxury gift, referencing a Ferrari that had been displayed at the event.
The singer has had a turbulent week following the fight, alleging that the match was manipulated and accusing organisers of trying to avoid paying out large betting stakes.

“It was cheating. They couldn’t pay the money, so they rigged it. They couldn’t pay the N23 billion that people bet on me. If Portable wins, they can never pay the money,” he claimed.
Despite the controversy, Portable said the birth of his child on the same night as the fight brought him joy and perspective, stating it meant more to him than the championship belt.
All three judges scored the bout 27–30 in favour of Carter Efe, marking Portable’s first defeat in celebrity boxing after previous wins against Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.
