Nollywood actress, Sunshine Rosman, has raised serious concerns over the worsening economic situation and rising insecurity in Nigeria, urging both citizens and leaders to take decisive action.

In an emotional outburst, the actress decried the growing poverty, declining living standards, and persistent attacks across the country, particularly in northern regions.

She questioned why many Nigerians appear to have become accustomed to the hardship despite its severity.

“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough?” she asked.

Rosman explained that while the economic challenges are already overwhelming, the continued loss of lives and displacement of innocent people have made the situation even more distressing.

“We can’t even begin to talk about the economy right now the poverty rate, the lack of infrastructure in this country.

“But as if that’s not bad enough, innocent people are being slaughtered,” she said.

The actress also pointed out the growing fear among communities forced to flee their homes due to insecurity, noting that many feel abandoned and helpless.

“Lives are being lost for nothing, and people have to migrate from their towns, homes and villages because they know that nothing will be done,” Rosman lamented.

She further urged Nigerians not to remain silent, stressing the need for collective action in addressing the crisis.

“Nigeria’s hardship, insecurity and suffering can no longer be ignored,” she added.

Her remarks come amid ongoing reports of attacks, displacement, and destruction of property in several parts of the country.
