Controversial relationship expert Blessing CEO has shared fresh details about her health condition, revealing she is battling breast cancer while also addressing growing skepticism surrounding her public appeal for financial support.
During an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, she recounted how she discovered a lump months ago and later received confirmation that it was cancerous.
“I discovered a lump in July last year, and I was later told in early January that it was cancerous. I began preparing for a mastectomy to determine how far the condition had spread. I’m not ready to share my hospital report yet, but I will share it soon,” she said.
She explained that she is still uncertain about the stage of the illness, noting that her medical report did not clearly specify it.
Addressing questions about her fundraising appeal, Blessing maintained that she did not request a fixed amount because she was unsure of the total cost of treatment, which may involve surgery, therapy, and other medical procedures.

“I didn’t state a fixed amount when asking for help. I was just trying to plan because I didn’t know what to expect, though I may have exaggerated things,” she said.
Her clarification follows backlash from critics who questioned the credibility of her claims, especially after she previously stated in a viral video that she was battling stage 4 cancer.
Among those who reacted was actress Sarah Martins, who publicly dismissed the claim and accused her of using the situation to solicit funds for her partner.
The situation has since sparked intense debate online, with opinions divided between those expressing sympathy and others demanding more transparency regarding her diagnosis and appeal.
