There was a tense moment on Sunday involving Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham during a movie premiere hosted by Iyabo Ojo.
The incident occurred at the event venue where Akindele was seated at a table alongside Iyabo Ojo and fellow actress Mercy Aigbe. When Toyin Abraham approached the table to greet them, Iyabo and Mercy acknowledged her warmly.
However, Akindele appeared to deliberately avoid interaction, looking away and not responding to the greeting. The moment reportedly left Abraham visibly uncomfortable before she quietly walked away.

While some supported Akindele’s actions, suggesting she may still be holding on to past grievances—particularly linked to Abraham’s stance on comments made by filmmaker Kunle Afolayan—others argued that she should have responded politely in a public setting to maintain professionalism.
