The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that its online registration portal will be available for prospective corps members between March 12 and March 18, 2026.
The announcement was made through a flyer shared on the scheme’s social media platforms on Friday.
In the notice, the NYSC stressed that only graduates whose names appear on the approved Senate or Academic Board lists uploaded by their institutions will be eligible to register.
“Attention, Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), I am happy to inform you that the NYSC portal will be opened for online registration from 12th to 18th March, 2026,” the flyer stated.
It added, “PCMs who have Senate/Academic Board approved results and whose details have been uploaded on the NYSC portal by their respective institutions” are eligible to register.
The scheme urged prospective participants to visit its official website and social media pages for comprehensive guidelines on the registration process.

It also highlighted the importance of verifying personal information before beginning registration. Graduates must ensure that their names on the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) record match those on the Senate list and the NYSC portal.
Additionally, the NYSC advised applicants to confirm that their names align with those on their certificates or statements of results, and to use the Senate list verification portal prior to registering online.
This announcement follows ongoing reforms in the education sector designed to enhance the accuracy and integrity of academic records.
