Popular social media influencer Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat has escaped unhurt after a fire outbreak erupted inside his Lagos residence.
The content creator took to his Instagram page on Saturday to share a video of the alarming moment, capturing flames as they consumed his generator.
In the footage, a distressed Peller could be heard shouting for assistance while trying to stop the fire from spreading. “My house oh. Na my house oh. Jesus! Off am,” he cried in fear.
Explaining the situation in the post’s caption, Peller revealed that the generator had just been purchased and that it took roughly 30 minutes before the fire was completely extinguished.
The video sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans and followers expressing gratitude that no one was injured, while many attributed his safety to swift intervention and divine protection.
At the time of reporting, the precise cause of the fire had yet to be independently established.

This incident comes months after the influencer escaped another life-threatening situation on the Lekki–Epe Expressway, where he was involved in a dangerous driving stunt during a live stream that resulted in a crash.
The viral clip of the episode led to his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over the reckless driving incident.
