Anthony Joshua has honoured the memory of two of his closest friends, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, by getting their names permanently inked on his body.
The former heavyweight boxing champion recently unveiled a fresh tattoo bearing their names on his right biceps, placed just beneath a map of Africa already etched on his upper arm.
Ayodele and Ghami tragically lost their lives in a fatal car accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on December 29. Joshua was also in the Lexus SUV involved in the crash, which slammed into a stationary truck, but he escaped with minor injuries.
Since the heartbreaking incident, the 35-year-old boxer has consistently paid tribute to his late friends, describing them as brothers and expressing deep gratitude for surviving the crash.

Confirming the new tattoo, Fulham Tattoos revealed in a post on its Instagram page on Thursday that Joshua got the ink “a few weeks ago”.
A couple of weeks earlier, Joshua had emotionally shared that he no longer feared death, saying he already had two “brothers” waiting on the other side. In a lengthy and emotional video message, the boxer struggled to hold back tears as he pledged to stand by the families of his late friends and “do what is right” by them.
The tribute marks yet another deeply personal gesture by Joshua to keep the memories of Ayodele and Ghami alive.
