Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has ignited discussion online after posing a bold question on Instagram about what women would do if they discovered their partner was involved with a married woman with children.
In her post, the married actress revealed that she once confronted her husband about such a scenario, and he denied any wrongdoing, insisting that the woman was “just friends,” a claim she fully believed at the time.
She explained that the truth eventually came out when the woman obtained proof showing that her husband and the married woman had been involved in a romantic relationship, not merely friendship. Peggy also highlighted the hypocrisy, noting that the same man often judges single women who become involved with married men.
“What will you do if you find out that the man you are dating is sleeping with a married woman with kids?
You asked him about it, but he totally denies it, saying they are just friends, and you completely believed him.
You eventually got married to him. Your husband always hypes the married woman in public, but privately your husband tells you how local this his friend is just to manipulate you so you will not suspect a thing.”
She continued, “BUT ONE DAY STARS GOD WILL HAVE IT, YOU GOT EVIDENCE AND FOUND OUT YOUR HUSBAND AND THE SAID LADY WERE NEVER JUST FRIENDS. THEY MARRIED MAN HAS BEEN SLEEPING WITH THE MARRIED WOMAN. THEY CONSTANTLY MEET UP EITHER AT WORK, OR IN A HOTEL. SHE WHEN LEAVES HER HUSBAND’S HOUSE & GO MEET HIM IN HIS APARTMENT & IN HOTELS.
YET THIS SAME MAN JUDGES AND CASTIGATES SINGLE GIRLS WHO SLEEP WITH MARRIED MEN.
NOT LONG AFTER GETTING MARRIED, YOU NOTICED THAT HE IS NOW COMPARING YOU TO HIS MARRIED SIDECHICK. YOU FIND OUT THAT HE EVEN VISITS HER AT HOME UNKNOWING TO HER HUSBAND. ON SOME OCCASIONS, HE VISITS WHILE HER HUSBAND IS AROUND BECAUSE SIDECHICK’S HUSBAND ALSO BELIEVES YOUR HUSBAND IS ‘JUST FRIENDS’ WITH HIS WIFE.
THIS MARRIED SIDECHICK EVEN ATTENDED YOUR WEDDING AND YOU HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IT YOU THOUGHT BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST FRIENDS.
BUT NOW YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF BOTH OF THEM MEETING UP IN HOTELS DOING HUSBAND STUFF TELLING YOUR CALLED HUSBAND TELLING HER HOW MUCH HE MISSES HER WHILE HE IS STILL MARRIED TO YOU.

The post follows a series of public observations about her marriage. On Christmas Day, Peggy shared solo photos by her tree in colorful pyjamas, omitting her husband, Frederick Leonard. Previously, in October 2024, Frederick drew attention for not posting a birthday message for Peggy, while in December he addressed rumours about their marriage, urging bloggers to stop spreading falsehoods and stressing that their marriage doesn’t answer to social media.
Peggy and Frederick Leonard married in a star-studded ceremony in Asaba, Delta State, on November 19, 2022.
