Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, has responded to allegations made by his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, with a statement from one of the domestic staff at his residence.
The statement, provided by his nurse Dora, contradicts Regina’s earlier claims about life in the home after her departure.
On 16 December 2025, Regina had shared a WhatsApp conversation with Ruth, a domestic nurse who had been caring for her two sons, Munir and Khalifa, announcing Ruth’s resignation and claiming the household had “never been the same” since the 25-year-old actress left.
Now, nearly five weeks later, Mr Nwoko has presented a contrasting perspective. He shared on his X page on Wednesday a statement from his domestic nurse Dora, who began working in the household in July 2023. According to Mr Nwoko, Dora’s account, which she sent him on 9 January 2026, details several disturbing incidents she observed while employed.
“According to her account, Mrs Regina started requesting that she purchase ‘hard drugs that needed prescriptions’ and would sometimes contact her to ask about ‘the lethal doses of some drugs like morphine and pethidine,’” the senator quoted Dora as saying.
Dora further recounted an alarming incident one evening: she entered Regina’s room and saw “dangerous opioids, anaesthesia and her regular weed scattered all over the table.” She said Regina “emptied a ketamine injection into a flat plate and instructed her to microwave it into crystals.” Dora added that she immediately reported the incident to her employer.
Addressing the domestic abuse allegations, Dora insisted she never witnessed Mr Nwoko assault Regina. “My boss, Sen. Ned Nwoko, neither drinks nor smokes, and I haven’t heard of him physically abusing my Madam in any way,” she stated.
Dora noted that the only disputes she was aware of involved arguments over Regina’s drinking and smoking habits. She emphasised that she consistently refused to carry out any requests from Regina that involved drugs or unsafe practices, instead acting out of concern by reporting them.

Mr Nwoko said Dora’s statement supports his claims that Regina’s personal challenges were related to drug and alcohol use. He also mentioned Izuvegbu “Ann” Anthonet, alleging that she regularly supplied and mixed drugs for Regina, which contributed to legal troubles.
“According to the same accounts, Ann Cassie was charged with multiple offences, including claims of procuring an illegal abortion for Mrs Regina some years ago, an issue Mrs Regina has referenced in one of her own social media posts, as well as cyberbullying arising from statements said to be criminally defamatory and posted online. Ann Cassie is reported to have been granted bail while the matters are expected to proceed through the legal process. Observers say the coming months may witness further legal and public developments surrounding the unfolding controversy,” he said.
The senator also alleged that Ann caused the death of his unborn child by making Regina ingest a large quantity of cannabis, leaving her bleeding for weeks.
The public marital dispute between Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels, which began in October 2025, escalated after Regina accused the senator of physical assault. Mr Nwoko denied the claims, accusing her of substance abuse and property vandalism. Regina later submitted to a drug test, which returned negative results, but the senator has rejected the outcome, vowing to challenge it in court.
As of press time, Regina Daniels has not responded to the latest allegations.
