Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has opened up about the passing of his friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola, sharing the depth of his grief on Instagram.
In a heartfelt post, Salami reflected on the pain of losing Ademola, admitting that 72 hours of relentless tears still cannot bring her back.
He also acknowledged the outpouring of love and concern from friends, fans, and colleagues, but confessed that he is too overwhelmed to read, respond, or fully express his emotions.
He wrote: “72 hours of endless tears still can’t bring back my Shuga boo.
To everyone who has genuinely reached out to me with love and concern for my state of mind and well-being through countless calls, messages, and voice notes.
I see them all.
I truly do.
I’m just too weak right now to read, listen, respond, or even find the words to express how I really feel.”
Salami added that while he is struggling, he is trying to remain strong for his family, friends, fans, and especially his children, who will draw strength from him as they all cope with the loss.

He continued: “All is not well at the moment.
But for the sake of our family, friends, and the fans who have shown up in prayers, posts, calls, and overwhelming love – and most especially for my children, who will draw strength from me as we learn to move on without our Shuga Boo, our Ibiayo, our Eniobanke, our Allwell Ademola.
I promise to stand strong.
“Please, when you see me, don’t try to console me because I will break down.
I still can’t say farewell.
Shuga boo.”
Salami’s post is a moving tribute, showing the profound impact Ademola had on his life and the difficulty of navigating such a sudden loss.
