Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reacted to the public apology issued by Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, confirming that she has accepted his gesture following their recent disagreement.
The actress made this known via her Facebook page on Sunday after a video surfaced showing the cleric kneeling before his congregation to express remorse.
“Pastor Chris please don’t kneel. This was all I wanted. Apology accepted,” Ogala wrote in response to the footage.
Earlier, Ogala had posted the video in which Pastor Chris was seen addressing his church members while on his knees, admitting to past mistakes and asking for forgiveness.
The apology comes after the actress previously accused the cleric of ending their relationship and choosing another woman, despite allegedly assuring her of marriage.
While responding to the controversy, Pastor Chris maintained that several accusations levelled against him were incorrect, even as he acknowledged that his actions may have caused pain.

“I am not joining issues,” he said, referring to Doris Ogala. “Mistakes have been made in the past, and I tender my apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are so many lies in most of the things that were said.”
Still, the pastor emphasized his willingness to reconcile and make amends where necessary, including offering restitution to anyone he may have wronged.
“To Doris Ogala, I will apologize, and I also apologize to everyone. I am ready to make a restitution to anyone and anybody, any lady, anywhere I’ve offended.”
“I’m kneeling down before everyone and before the church. Forgive me. You can judge me. Pray for me,” he added.
The development has continued to spark conversations online, with social media users expressing mixed reactions to both the apology and Ogala’s decision to accept it.
