Veteran Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has made a public admission regarding his past during a live show in Benin City.
Speaking at the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends event, moments before taking the stage, 2Baba told fans he wanted to “set the record straight” about long-standing questions surrounding his personal life.
The singer, who has fathered children with multiple women outside his marriage, revealed that he has put an end to such relationships.
“But see, I get confession. I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you that I’m innocent,” he said.

2Baba’s family history has frequently been in the public eye. His first child, with Sumbo Adeoye, produced two sons, Zion and Nino, before their relationship ended around 2009 following revelations of his involvement with other women.
He later had three children with his second partner, Pero Adeniyi, between 2006 and 2012.
The singer also shares two daughters with his former wife, actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, whose marriage reportedly ended in 2025 after years under public scrutiny.
Recently, 2Baba welcomed a child with his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, a relationship that has attracted attention and debate due to reports of a controversial union.
His frank confession in Benin has sparked discussion online, with many fans interpreting it as a step to address past controversies and clarify misconceptions about his personal life.
