President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to observe the end-of-year holidays, concluding his official visits to Borno and Bauchi states.
The President landed at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, where he was welcomed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside other government officials and prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was earlier reported that President Tinubu departed Abuja on Saturday as part of a three-state tour. His first stop was Borno State, where he commissioned several projects carried out by the state government under Governor Babagana Zulum, in partnership with the Federal Government.
During his stay in Maiduguri, the President also attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, who tied the knot with his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.

From Borno, Tinubu travelled to Bauchi State, where he paid a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi. The respected Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood passed away on November 27.
Following the condolence visit, the President proceeded to Lagos, where he is expected to participate in several activities during the holiday season.
One of his major engagements includes attending the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, where he will serve as the guest of honour. The festival will also celebrate notable figures, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as late former Lagos State Governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
