Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has urged immediate action to tackle the rising incidents of violence, abductions, and terrorism across Nigeria.

Reacting to the recent attack on the CAC church in Kwara State and the abduction of 25 girls in Kebbi, Iyabo emphasized that “enough is enough,” drawing parallels to the Chibok girls tragedy and highlighting the urgent need for meaningful change.

Through a social media statement, she called on Nigerians to unite against injustice while outlining specific measures the government should implement to restore security.

“#EndTerrorismInNigeria

We are calling for immediate action to address the ongoing violence, abductions, and terrorism in Nigeria. The recent attack on CAC, Eruku Ekiti, LGA, Kwara State, and the abduction of 25 young girls are stark reminders of the Chibok girls’ tragedy and the urgent need for change,” she wrote.

Iyabo stressed the importance of holding authorities accountable and ensuring swift action. “Enough is Enough. We urge the government to treat this as an emergency and take concrete steps to:
• Investigate and address internal security breaches within the military
• Increase security measures to protect citizens
• Seek external or international assistance if necessary
• Suspend and arrest any personnel suspected of supporting terrorism within the military, police, or intelligence forces
• Arrest anyone supporting a terrorist or bandit
• Equip our military with modern weapons, gadgets, vehicles, and medical supplies
• Mobilise our air force to take decisive action against terrorists
• Authorise the military to take bold action, prioritising strikes against terrorist targets
• Focus on action, not just promises

We must stand together against injustice and demand an end to these atrocities. Our military has the capacity to act; it’s time for them to step up and protect our nation. Let’s unite in demanding justice and peace for Nigeria.”
