Controversial singer Portable has taken aim at Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan following VDM’s physical altercation with comedian Mr Jollof during a commercial flight.
The pair were recorded in a viral clip exchanging punches onboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight reportedly travelling from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos. The confrontation quickly circulated online, drawing widespread reactions.
VeryDarkMan later acknowledged the incident on Facebook, bragging that he had “dealt with” Mr Jollof. In another video, he lifted his shirt to reveal bite marks on his chest while continuing to taunt the comedian.

Reacting to the drama, Portable posted a video on Instagram where he scolded VeryDarkMan for engaging in a fight on an airplane and even demanded his arrest. He ridiculed the critic’s physique and fighting skills, saying his large frame had no real impact.
Mocking him further, Portable said, “I hear say Mr Jollof turn Very Dark Man body to chicken dey chop am. See someone they want to give N100 million to fight me. Your body is just big for nothing, you no even sabi throw blow.”
