For Instagram influencer Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, she has succeeded in making #JP2025# a household name.
On Thursday evening, she finally confirmed speculations that she is expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
Priscilla on Thursday shared maternity pictures of herself in a joint Instagram post with her husband, showing off her baby bump for the first time.
She captioned the post, “MOM & DAD 🤍✨
BLESSED • GRATEFUL • THANKFUL”
Rumours of Priscilla’s pregnancy began swirling before the final leg of her lavish wedding, which held in Tanzania. Online users had cited a viral clip where Iyabo Ojo was seen cautioning her daughter not to be “overly active,” a moment many interpreted as a subtle confirmation of the pregnancy.
Despite the speculations, neither Priscilla nor Juma had publicly addressed the rumours until now.
Priscilla and Juma began their wedding journey with a Nikkah ceremony held on February 7, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
They followed up with an intimate dinner in Lagos on February 12, where Juma proposed again, this time presenting Priscilla with a new diamond ring in front of her family and close friends.
The couple’s traditional and white wedding took place on April 17 in Lagos. The event began with a Yoruba traditional ceremony where Priscilla dazzled in aso-oke, followed by a beachside white wedding. Priscilla wore a custom beaded gown by Veekee James, while Juma stunned in a tuxedo by Mai Atafo.
The wedding celebrations wrapped up in Tanzania on May 28, with a reception that drew guests from East Africa. During the event, Juma gifted Priscilla a brand-new Range Rover, a surprise that left the bride visibly emotional and gained widespread attention online.
While many congratulated the couple on their marital bliss, some fans had grown curious about Priscilla’s noticeable glow and minimal public outings.
Her close friend and media personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa, however, had previously dismissed the speculations, saying it was the first time he was hearing of any pregnancy.
With Thursday’s maternity reveal, Priscilla has now officially confirmed the rumour, marking another milestone in her high-profile love story with Juma Jux.
